Oman at the international forum "Travel!" — a cultural triumph
From June 10 to June 15, 2025, the Sultanate of Oman participated in the jubilee International Tourism Forum "Travel!" at VDNH (Moscow) as a Partner of the Cultural Program.
Oman's cultural venue combines vibrant traditions, professional communication and an authentic atmosphere of oriental hospitality.
His Excellency Hamoud Salim Al Tuwaih, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Sultanate of Oman to the Russian Federation, attended the Forum.
On June 10, as part of the business program of the forum, a lecture "Sultanate of Oman — a new point on the world travelers map" was held. Regina Rudakova, General Manager of Coati Representative, Head of the Russian Representative Office of the Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Heritage of Oman, member of the Russian-Omani Business Council of the CCI of the Russian Federation.
The key advantages of the direction were highlighted:
– visa–free entry for Russian citizens
– direct flights from Moscow
- high interest in FIT, MICE and eco-luxury products
A special moment of the festival was the fashion show of traditional and modern shamanic costumes by the famous designer Faiza al Balushi (Bait Al Fanar).
The collection caused sincere delight among the public and the media. The outfits organically combined:
– hand embroidery, ornaments and authentic cut elements
– natural fabrics, crystals, gold and silver threads
– modern presentation and deep respect for heritage
Each dress is a story of Oman, told in the language of high fashion.

Oman's participation in SPIEF 2025 was an important step in the development of Russian-Omani relations in the fields of tourism, investment and cultural exchange.
On June 19, the Russia—Oman round table was held within the framework of the forum, where Regina Rudakova spoke about the key aspects of tourism growth between the two countries.

On the same day, Regina Rudakova gave an interview to Russia 24 TV channel, where she spoke about the positive dynamics of tourism development between the two countries and Oman's key initiatives.
A publication about Oman was published in the official journal of SPIEF 2025, prepared in partnership with Maldiviana. The magazine was distributed on Russian Railways Sapsan trains, on Aeroflot flights, and at the forum site.
A special event was also the signing of a cooperation agreement between the Oman Tourism Office and the Ostrovok booking service. The document provides for the mutual promotion of destinations, the development of interregional tourist routes, joint events and the stimulation of tourist flows. The purpose of the agreement is to promote active cultural and tourist exchange between Russia and the Sultanate of Oman.
Russian media about Oman's tourism potential
In May, a press tour was held for the leading Russian media, organized by the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Tourism of Oman. As a result of the trip, articles were published in such publications as RIA Novosti, Magazine, Travel Business, Business Travel and others.
