June 18, 2025 — The Oman Tourism Office in Russia and the online hotel booking platform Ostrovok have signed a cooperation agreement. The partnership aims to boost tourism flows between the two countries, promote both destinations, and develop new travel routes for Russian and Omani travelers.

On May 22-23, the XI Nevsky International Ecological Congress was held in St. Petersburg. As part of the main stated theme on the development of ecological tourism as a tool for nature conservation, Regina Rudakova made a presentation on the preservation of the natural, historical and cultural heritage of the Sultanate of Oman.
