Press tour for leading media in the field of tourism
In May, a press tour for well-known Russian media organized by the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Tourism of Oman was successfully held. Media representatives together with a representative of the Oman Tourism Office in Russia had a fruitful and interesting week in a unique country. The rich program of the press tour allowed the participants to immerse themselves in an amazing oriental fairy tale and experience all the hospitality and diversity of the Sultanate of Oman - from beach relaxation and excursions to active recreation and ecotourism.
In the early days, the participants got acquainted with the culture and sights of the capital, from the old town to the traditional dhow boat cruise. Then the tour continued in the green province of Dhofar with a comfortable climate zone, unique nature and history. The journalists also visited the Al Balid Archaeological Park (a UNESCO site) and the Mirbat Fortress.
This press tour was not just a trip, but a real immersion into the culture, nature and soul of Oman. The participants brought with them vivid impressions and confidence — Oman is ready to surprise Russian tourists at any time of the year: from beach relaxation and sightseeing routes to cultural discoveries and gastronomic experiences.
The premiere of the culinary travel show "The Magic of taste. Oman"
On May 21, 2025, the premiere of the new culinary travel show "The Magic of Taste. Oman", created with the support of the Oman Tourism Office. The film invites viewers to an exciting journey through the Sultanate, a country with rich gastronomic traditions and a unique culture.
The host of the project, Anton Zaitsev, the main gourmet of the TV channel, traveled to Oman for the first time — a real pearl of the Arab East — to explore the local cuisine filled with aromas of spices, spices, marinades, fish and meat. Each episode reveals traditional recipes, cooking techniques and the philosophy of nutrition, which reflects the history and soul of the people.
Two episodes of the project were aired at once: "The Magic of Taste. Oman. Delicacies of the East" and "The Magic of taste. Oman. An Oriental fairy tale".

Visit of the delegation of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Tourism of Oman
A delegation from Oman's Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Tourism has paid a business visit to Russia. Within the framework of the mission, meetings were held with key partners aimed at strengthening ties and discussing the prospects for the development of tourism between our countries.
The delegation included:

— Huloud Salim Khalaf Al-Kaabi, Head of the European and American Markets Department.
— Regina Nikolaevna Rudakova, General Manager of COATI Representative, Head of the Russian Representative Office of the Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Heritage of Oman, member of the Russian-Omani Business Council of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation.
The main purpose of the visit was to develop bilateral cooperation and promote Oman's tourism potential in the Russian market.
