Oman Tourism Office News in Russia

• March is traditionally rich in business events and exhibitions, and the participation of Oman's Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Tourism in MITT 2025 has become a significant event for promoting the country's tourism potential.

• Mr. Haitham Mohammed Al Ghassani, Director General of Tourism Development at the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Tourism of Oman, delivered a speech at the opening ceremony of the event. He stressed the importance of international partnership and strengthening ties in the field of tourism.

• The honorary guests of the event were Mr. Ahmadov Mohmad Isaevich, Senator of the Russian Federation and Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on Social Policy, and His Excellency Hamoud Salim Al Tuwaih, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Sultanate of Oman to the Russian Federation.

• As part of the business program, a meeting was held, which was attended by Mr. Haitham Mohammed Al Ghassani, Ambassador Hamoud Salim Abdullah Al Tuwayh, Mr. Ahmadov Mohmad Isaevich and Rudakova Regina Nikolaevna, Head of the Russian Representative Office of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Tourism of Oman. The parties discussed key issues aimed at increasing the tourist flow between the two countries.

• On March 11, the Oman Tourism Office in Russia participated in the Unique Travel Fair in Moscow and the Travel Connection Workshop in St. Petersburg, and on March 14, our team presented the tourism opportunities of the Sultanate of Oman at the Unique Travel Fair in St. Petersburg.

On March 20, the VII All–Russian Congress of Travel Agents - 2025 was held at the Palace of Cultures in Moscow, in which the Oman Tourism Office in Russia took part.

• Regina Rudakova, Head of the Russian Representative Office of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Tourism of Oman, made a presentation and spoke about the rich cultural heritage of the Sultanate of Oman, its unique tourist opportunities, seasonality, hotel base and answered all your questions.

• Mr. Haitham Mohammed Al Ghassani, Director General of Tourism Development at the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Tourism of Oman, also attended the event and delivered a speech on the importance of tourism development between the Sultanate of Oman and the Russian Federation.
